Easy Homemade Granola

This easy homemade granola recipe is such a staple granola recipe. It's super simple and a base granola recipe, leaving room to add in any additional ingredients of your choice like dried fruits, chocolate, or anything else you'd like to add!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups oats rolled oats, quick oats
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cashews, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter, or nut butter of choice
  • optionally include: dried fruits, chocolate, etc.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350℉.
  • Line a medium-sized baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
  • To a bowl, combine all dry ingredients together first, then all wet ingredients. Mix together with a spatula until well combined.
  • Transfer granola mixture to lined baking tray and pat down with a spatula so it is spread out into an even layer.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until granola becomes golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely before breaking into chunks. To speed up the process, place the granola tray in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. Once cold, break into chunks and enjoy.

Notes

How to store: keep in an airtight container or jar in the fridge for up to one month.
