virgin mojito garnished with mint and cucumber

Refreshing Virgin Mojito (with Alcohol Option)

Riri's Recipes
Summer is drink season, which means I will be sipping on mojito's until further notice. I prefer mine as a mocktail, but you can easily add some alcohol to this recipe! It's super easy to make, requires just a handful of ingredients and 5 minutes of your time.

Ingredients

  • 1 large handful ice to add to cocktail shaker and extra to add to your glass
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1 can sparkling water
  • 4 whole mint leaves plus extra to garnish
  • 2 whole limes, juiced
  • 1 slice cucumber, to garnish (slice your mini cucumber vertically to place in your glass - optional)

Optional Add-Ins

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz simple syrup or any sweetener of choice

Instructions

  • To a cocktail shaker, add ice, lemonade, mint leaves, lime juice and sparkling water and shake gently until well combined. Optionally, leave out the sparkling water and pour it to your glass before serving.
  • To a glass, add cucumber for garnish, ice and pour in the virgin mojito.
  • Top with extra mint leaves and a cucumber slice for garnish.

Notes

If you don't have a cocktail shaker, no worries! Just add the ingredients to a large pitcher or directly to the glass and stir well with a spoon.
