This high-protein strawberry smoothie has been my latest obsession! The flavour combination between the strawberries and peanut butter is so delicious, and the frozen strawberries adds so much texture and natural sweetness. You’ll be wanting to enjoy this for breakfast or as a snack every day!
The Strawberries & Cream protein powder from Good Protein is what gives it such a rich and creamy taste. If you use my code RIRISRECIPES30 you can save 30% off your order!

Ingredients
- Frozen Strawberries. I used fresh strawberries that were ripe, cut them in 3 pieces and froze them in a silicone bag. You can also use frozen strawberries from the grocery store, or fresh if you prefer. I prefer frozen because it creates a better texture and makes the smoothie fresh.
- Medjool Date. This adds some natural added sweetness, and lots of flavour. Not to mention dates are loaded with fiber!
- Oat Milk. You can use any plant milk of choice!
- Protein Powder. The Strawberries and Cream flavour from Good Protein is what makes this smoothie taste so good. I was actually hesitant to try this flavour because I normally prefer vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter etc over the fruity flavours. But I took one sip of this, and I fell in love! If you use my code RIRISRECIPES30 you can save 30% off your next order, and it is *so* worth it.
- Cinnamon. I love adding just a dash of it to enhance the flavour of all the ingredients in this smoothie.
- Peanut Butter. You can add some peanut butter with all the other ingredients before blending, or just add it on top of the smoothie before drinking it, or both! I like adding a small teaspoon in the blender, then an extra drizzle on top for more flavour.
Equipment
- Blender. It’s super important to have a well-functioning blender for this smoothie since we’re using frozen strawberries. You want to ensure no large chunks remain and everything gets blended. I love using my Ninja blender because it has 3 blades and makes my smoothies extra smooth.
- Measuring Cups. A good measuring cup goes a long way, and it’s super convenient to measure out all your ingredients, especially for a quick recipe like this one.
- Measuring Spoons. And when you have smaller ingredient quantities, measuring spoons will always do the trick! I use my measuring spoons to measure out the peanut butter, and the cinnamon when I want to be more precise.

Tips on making the most delicious strawberry smoothie
- Use frozen strawberries. The texture is almost soft-serve-like, and gives it such a fresh taste. You can opt for using fresh strawberries, but I think frozen is a MUST if you love the texture of a thicker smoothie.
- Scrape down the sides of the blender. Blend your ingredients together for 20-30 seconds, pause and scrape down the sides of the blender with a spatula to make sure no chunks remain.
- Add peanut butter to your smoothie, and as a topping. This is a bonus tip, but you can split the 1 tablespoon of peanut butter to blend half with all your ingredients, then use the other half as a topping. It adds extra creaminess and flavour to the smoothie.
