This high protein vegan yogurt bowl is the perfect snack or easy and quick breakfast you can make. It’s packed with protein, loaded with fruits and topped with crunchy granola. It’s so delicious to have as an afternoon snack when hunger strikes, or as a fresh morning breakfast! All you really need are 2 simple ingredients: the yogurt of your choice and some protein powder.

Ingredients needed to make this high protein vegan yogurt bowl
- Yogurt. You can use any yogurt of your choice, I used a vegan vanilla yogurt. However, any type of yogurt you like can be used here!
- Protein Powder. I like to keep it simple and use Good Protein Vanilla Milkshake flavour. I like that the flavour is subtle, but you can always do a flavoured protein powder like chocolate, strawberries and cream, or peanut butter! If you use my code RIRISRECIPES30 you can save 30% off your order!
- Toppings. This is where you can get creative! I love adding banana slices, strawberries, blueberries, and some granola for an added crunch. Anything else would be so delicious with this, like kiwi, nuts or seeds, pineapple, etc.
Equipment used to prepare this yogurt bowl
- Knife. Having a pairing knife will make cutting all your fruit a breeze! It’s small and compact so it can fit in any drawer in your kitchen too.
- Glass Mug. Nothing feels better than eating a snack out of a cute dish, just like these glass mugs. and while it isn’t a necessity to use, it definitely makes the experience of eating more fun and exciting!
- Container. If you’re choosing to store your yogurt in the fridge overnight, these containers are the best! They have a divider for the fruit so it does get soggy by sitting in the yogurt overnight.

Tips and substitutions to make the perfect high protein yogurt bowl
- Mix the protein thoroughly into your yogurt. We don’t want to eat any dry clumps of protein powder in our yogurt! You can use a spoon or a small whisk to combine the ingredients together.
- Add a sweetener of your choice. If you have a plain yogurt but want a little extra sweetness, add a touch of maple syrup! I always prefer to buy yogurt that has a lower amount of sugar, so naturally sweetening it with maple syrup (or honey) is perfect.
- Keep it simple. If you don’t want to use protein powder, you can completely omit it! Simply use a high protein yogurt instead, and mix in nut butter of choice, some cinnamon, fruits (fresh or dried) and granola!

Can I store this yogurt bowl?
Yes! You can mix the yogurt and protein powder and keep it in the fridge overnight. Add any fruits or granola to top it the next morning. Always make sure to store the fruit or granola separately in the fridge so it does not get soggy overnight.
