Ingredients needed for this strawberry daiquiri

  • Frozen Strawberries. I love using frozen since it adds even more of a frozen texture to this drink.
  • Ice. This is what will give the drink a slushy texture. You can always add more ice to make this more of a frozen drink if that’s what you prefer!
  • Rum.
  • San Pellegrino Limonata. I absolutely love this drink because it has a perfect amount of sweetness and a delicious lemon flavour. It has a nice fizzy flavour which adds more texture to this drink! I also like to use the plain lemonade flavour, but you can use any fizzy drink you’d like!
  • Sugar. To add some sweetness to the drink. I have not tried using a natural sweetener like maple syrup to this drink, but it should work and taste just as good!
  • Extras to garnish: Lime or fresh mint. Because it looks very fancy and adds some extra flavour!

Tips on making the best frozen strawberry daiquiri

  • Use frozen strawberries. I love when my drinks are not very liquid-y, so using frozen strawberries helps to have that thicker, smoothie-like texture.
  • Ice, ice baby! Don’t forget to add your ice! I love the consistency of this strawberry daiquiri, but if you really want a thicker drink, be sure to add more ice. If you do decide to add more ice, be sure to adjust your other ingredients as it may be watered down. Simply add more sugar and rum as desired!
  • Blend! You want to make sure this strawberry daiquiri is slushy, but has no chunks left behind. Make sure to blend all the ingredients well and stir in between blends to make sure your drink is smooth.

How to store your strawberry daiquiris

If you have some leftover, you can place it in a sealed jar or bottle and keep in the fridge for about 3 days. It is best to drink this as soon as it’s made, however it can stay fresh for a few days in the fridge.
